Africa AI Future Awards

A Night Honouring Africa's AI Pioneers

The Africa AI Future Awards is a premier continental recognition platform dedicated to celebrating excellence, innovation and impact in Artificial Intelligence (AI) across Africa. The awards recognize individuals, startups, companies, researchers, educators, institutions and innovators who are building, applying and scaling AI solutions that are transforming industries and addressing real-world challenges across the continent. From AI engineers and data scientists to entrepreneurs, researchers, technology pioneers and AI-driven organizations, the Africa AI Future Awards celebrates those shaping Africa's AI ecosystem and contributing to its future. The awards form the AI edition of the Digitally Fit Awards and bring together AI champions, industry leaders, businesses, researchers and innovators from across Africa. The 2026 edition will take place on 3rd December 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya, as part of the Digitally Fit & AI Champions Summit. The event will provide a platform for recognition, knowledge sharing, networking, industry engagement and showcasing AI solutions, culminating in the Africa AI Future Awards ceremony. Through this initiative, we aim to increase the visibility of African AI innovators, encourage responsible AI adoption, strengthen collaboration and position Africa as a significant contributor to the global artificial intelligence landscape.
